ABOUT

Ivana is a London based actress and producer with a diverse background who trained professionally as an actor, singer, musician and dancer. Originally from Serbia, she grew up in Moscow and Cyprus before moving to the UK in 2009. Due to her upbringing she is fluent in English, Serbian, Russian and basic Greek, Italian and Spanish. Her main language is English which she can speak with no hint of her broad geography or with, depending on the role, American.

Most recently Ivana played Ruby in the feature film The Bezonians starring Vinnie Jones and Marina Sirtis in 2020. In 2021 Ivana starred in and worked as an Associate Producer followed by Co-Producer on two feature films: The Phantom Warrior starring Dean Cain and Steven Berkoff where she played Pythia the Oracle of Delphi and The Abomination starring Tom Arnold and Illeana Douglas where she played the sassy assassin Anastasia. All three films were made under Saints and Savages production company and written and directed by the award-winning filmmaker Savvas D. Michael.

In 2022 she Co-Produced the feature film Hitmen starring Oscar nominated actor Eric Roberts and Georges St-Pierre. She also played the role of Francesca being one of the films villains. The film is a collaboration between Saints and Savages and the LA Based Emmy and Golden Globe winning production company ‘Bee Holder Productions’.

She believes her acting background gives her producing skill set an additional dimension and perspective.

In 2022 Ivana played smaller supporting roles in the new Apple TV shows Silo starring Rebecca Ferguson and Hijack starring Idris Elba. In the past she has also played smaller supporting roles on feature films such as The Gentlemen, Fantastic Beasts 2 and Han Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Ivana is a professionally trained classical singer. She is a natural soprano who is equally strong at pop and rock styles. She especially enjoys singing songs from the 70’s and 80’s.

She holds a 1st class BA Hons Degree in professional dance and musical theatre from the Urdang Academy. Whilst she was training she played roles such as Maria in West Side Story, Jemima in Cats, Hunyak in Chicago and the great diva Gussie Carnegie in Sondheim’s masterpiece Merrily We Roll Along, to name a few. Her favourite musical is Les Miserables.

From the age of seven Ivana has been playing the flute and piano. She was a member of the Cyprus State Youth orchestra and retained the highly prestigious associate piano diploma in advanced piano performance, becoming an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music at the young age of 18. She holds a distinction in her grade 8 music Theory and Flute performance. She especially enjoys playing late 19th Centuary Romantic piano compositions by Chopin and Rachmaninoff as a hobby to this day.

Collaboration with filmmaker James Phillips. Accepted into the BAFTA qualifying ‘Aesthetica Short Film Festival’ where it premiered in November 2018. In February 2019, it was screened at the Utah Dance Film Festival in Orem UT, USA. The next piece coming out soon in collaboration with James Phillips is called PRISONER and is a contemporary dance piece created to raise awareness for sufferers of the disease Multiple Sclerosis.

Ivana had the privilege of working as a dancer on feature films such as Men in Black 4 along with Les Twins, Kingsman and the golden circle as a contemporary dancer and The Guernsey and the Potato Peel Pie Society, where she performed along side Lily James as a ballroom dancer. She has also worked on a number of other productions such as Guerrilla directed by John Ridley and starring Idris Elba.

As a classically trained ballerina Ivana is prolific in many different styles of dance including lyrical jazz, tap, street, modern and contemporary, which shaped an eclectic career as a dancer and choreographer prior to her transition to screen acting and producing.

After graduating from Urdang she instantly went onto make her professional stage debut in ‘Incanto’ as a dancer/singer in a ‘Cirque Du Soleil’ inspired show in Singapore less then a month after graduating from her BA. She performed with local Singaporean actress Oon Shu Ann and singer Sarah Brightman at the Gala event and the show did a successful year having been sold out on most nights.

She has also performed with bands such as Goldfrapp at Glastonbury Festival and Arcade Fire at Wembley Stadium.
